It all starts with a chat over the phone where you can interview me and tell me about your home, your project, what you desire and envision. We can discuss my qualifications for your specific situation and see if we would like to work together. I am currently available to work with clients Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once we have decided to work together, we can then explore which service is best for your needs.
For someone who has time but is not sure how to start organizing, this service usually takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the home. Together we will walk through your home and discuss what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t. We then determine your priorities and focus on your personal goals and vision for your space.
I will present a personalized solution for your unique circumstances. You will get lots of fresh ideas, new perspectives, and advice on resources and places to purchase items. As appropriate, my suggestions might include sketches for specific storage solutions, floor plans, ideas for new routines and time management systems. This complete in-depth home assessment also comes with a complimentary one-hour phone or e-mail follow-up. This additional support is especially useful if you plan to make my suggested improvements on your own but have more questions or need more advice.

I can customize my remarks for your specific group, tailoring information and interactive exercises to a variety of audiences. Presentation titles are below, or I can create a fresh topic for you. “Lunch and Learn” topics can be as short as 15 minutes; presentations can last an hour or longer. If you cannot be present for any or all of our appointment, I will provide a “magic wand” solution. After we have clearly defined your goals, I will analyze, sort and present you with groups of items awaiting your final decision.
Committed to supporting my clients in their journey to being organized, I am happy to answer quick questions via email, text or phone calls outside of our sessions. I also provide referrals for other trusted providers, as well as complimentary internet research, some donation drop offs and basic supply shopping as part of Simplify You’s superior service to my valued clients.
Once we start organizing, ideal storage solutions will often need to be purchased. You are welcome to use my advice and referrals to buy these items yourself, but sometimes my busy clients often find it easiest to have me do this shopping for them. Simplify You will only charge you for the actual items used at cost. We do not “mark up” items to make an additional profit. Any products not needed will be returned at no additional charge to you as well.
After we achieve the results you desire, we can schedule flexible on-site maintenance sessions to maintain and perfect the systems we have developed. Clients often request a seasonal “tune-up” to ensure that their efforts stay as streamlined as possible.
There is a three hour minimum for hands-on appointments, to be sure we have enough time to complete every project.
No matter where you live, I can assist you via my virtual organizing services. This option is great for self-motivated people who want to organize their homes on their own time, using techniques, tools and resources recommended by a certified professional organizer. Using my decade of organizing experience and product & resource knowledge, together we can create an action plan that is customized uniquely for you.
I will set future tasks for you in your home and track your progress. I will be your accountability partner and cheerleader! You’ll chat with me on a weekly or bi-weekly basis via cell phone, Skype or Google Hangouts until the project is complete. Between sessions, you’ll work on the organizing assignments and if questions arise, you can email me for advice to keep your progress going in the right direction. Virtual Organizing is a great solution if you want to preserve the progress you have already made and just need a little extra motivation. Then, a monthly call may be all you need to maintain your harmonious home.
When time is short and the area to address is labor intensive (toys, attics, garages, basements, etc.,) the ideal solution is having a Simplify You Team in to do the job!
